Visiting the Grainger County Archives
We welcome your visit to Rutledge, the county seat of Grainger County,
located 33 miles northeast of Knoxville, Tennessee, on Hwy. 11-W.

Location
The Grainger County Archives is located on the top floor of the old
Rutledge High School building (now
the Board of Education offices) at 7850 Rutledge Pike (Hwy. 11-W) in
Rutledge, Tennessee.
Parking
Free parking is available on the east, west and south sides of the
building. The easiest access to the Archives is via the elevator.
The door to the elevator lobby is located at the lower parking lot level on the
east side of the building.
New Hours Beginning August 2009:
- Mondays and Tuesdays* 9:30 - 3:30
- 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month* 9:30 - 3:30
- Closed 2nd, 4th, and 5th Wednesdays of the month
*except county holidays
